On Saturday, we photographed Lake Tyers in flood. Everyone was expecting that it would break through to the sea at any moment.
On Saturday – this is what it looked like:
And at Nowa Nowa which feeds into Lake Tyers
And today the sea broke through and the lake flooded out. Water is now coming back into the Lake.
Went for a drive today to Orbost for lunch, then on to Marlo and around to Cape Conran. Things are looking greener for the most part, but bushfire evidence is still at the forefront of your mind as you look around. We enjoyed a walk on the beach at Sailor’s Grave.
