Every year the King Parrots come and feed on our front verandah. First the pair come, then just the male, and then the chicks and the female. Currently just the male comes around 5 each day. Waiting for the female to return with the chicks. So sad when we wait and wait, but only the male keeps coming each night, and we never know if something happened to the female, or if they had no chicks. But each year they return.

He didn’t at first, but now comes looking for me, and readily sits on my hand to eat the seed.
